The United Methodist Women (UMW) are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.

UMW is an international organization within the United Methodist Church.  You do not have to be a church member to be a member of UMW.  The UMW women of our church meet once a month in small groups called circles.  Our church currently has 2 circles:

Circle  One - Chairman Alice Krass

Polly Mincher Circle - Chairmen Iantha Hines & Penny Denmark

Twice a year, the UMW sponsors rummage/bake sales to raise the funds to support over a dozen missions. They are held in Spring (the first Saturday in May) and Fall (the first Saturday in October) .
