The Nurture Ministry strives to keep in contact with all of our members and encourages them to become involved in the many opportunities that are available.  This is done by "adopting" new members, keeping a weekly attendance using pew pads, helping keep an up-to-date directory and pictorial directory once every three years, sending birthday cards to members who are 80 and older, get well cards to our hospitalized members, and sympathy cards to our bereaved church members, sending care packages to our church's deployed military, keeping an accurate list of shut-ins, recording worship services and sending the CD to shut-ins, coordinating visitations with the church care team.

You can register on line to be added to either of the following lists:

· Care List

· Deployed Military List

Some church members are actively involved in Compassionate Friends, an organization that helps the grieving gain new hope through sharing and caring, and encourage anyone grieving the loss of a child to contact Compassionate Friends.    Ministering to someone who has suffered such a loss can be difficult.  Click here to download a handout that can be helpful in discerning Do’s and Don’ts when ministering to a family member or friend.

The Nurture Ministry is always in need of extra hands to help minister to those in need.    If you are interested in helping, contact Susan Taylor via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by calling  228-255-0499
