The next two weekends provide several opportunities to participate in the life of the church and in the life
of the community of Long Beach. Here are some ways you can join in the fun!
Saturday, Dec. 3rd
The 2nd Annual Long Beach Boat Parade (Sea Santa Sail-abration) will be this Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The parade route goes from the high school to the Town Green on Jeff Davis. Our Well band will provide
music from 4:30-5:30 p.m. outside of City Hall, and our children's choir will sing with them. You are
encouraged to come participate in the fun and support our community!
Our church will also be providing face painting and a snow station at the town green after the parade. If
you are available to "chaperone" the snow station, we would like to have a few volunteers from 6:00-6:30
p.m. and from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Call the church office to leave your name! (228)863-9619
Sunday, Dec. 4th

Our children's choir will sing in the CLC at 8:45 a.m. and several children and youth from our church will
be among the other choirs singing as well. Be sure to stop by our youth group's booth at the Town Green
to buy an ornament. They are raising money for their summer trip!

Our Chancel Choir will present their Cantata in both the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. You will not
want to miss it!

dinner. Make a pot of your best chili to participate in the contest or bring a side dish or dessert. We will
be voting for our favorites with money, and all donations will go to support our Advent offering, Imagine
