There will be a Celebration of the Appointment of Seashore District Superintendent, the Reverend Jim Fisher, on Sunday, June 14th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul UMC, Biloxi. All are invited to attend.
Sunday, May 24th, is Pentecost Sunday, the "Birthday of the Church" when the disciples were set on fire to be witnesses to the risen Christ. In honor of Pentecost, you are invited to wear red (purple, orange, or yellow will do also). There will be beautiful music, interpretive dancers, and even birthday cake. So get ready to receive the Spirit and be "set on fire" for Christ!

VBS 2015 is around the corner, and we are headed to the movies this summer! Starring Roles: Finding Your Role In God's Story will be the week of June 14th - 18th from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. It is a big week full of lots of excitement, and I know you will want to be a part of it. It's not to early to sign up for your volunteer role! Let Lori Cripple know that you want to be involved!
We are looking for congregation members who are interested in serving as ushers at the 11:00 a.m. service. You can volunteer to serve every week or commit to once a month. Please let the church office know if you would like to participate in the worship service in this way.
When it comes to working with our children, we learn hard and play hard, but we need to rest hard, too! At the end of May, a couple of our Sunday School teachers are taking some much deserved time off. That opens up opportunities for teachers in the 1st/2nd grade Sunday School class and the 3rd/4th grade Sunday School class. These classes can either have one teacher committed for the entire year or a team of teachers that rotate throughout each month. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to be in ministry with our kids! Let Lori Cripple know if you are interested in teaching.
We are seeking a new nursery worker for our Sunday morning sanctuary services. This is a paid position that will start at the beginning of June. Please let the church office know if you are interested in this opportunity.
Be part of the celebration for graduates on Baccalaureate Sunday, May 17th by loaning us your precious caps with tassels and pinning your name and where you graduated from on the inside of the cap. Those can be dropped off at the church office, and we promise to care for them and have them ready for you to pick up the following Sunday.
