Our Go Serve Day was a successful day of outreach! Around 65 people were able to serve 85 lunches to people outside of Feed My Sheep and at the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission. We delivered 51 devotionals to our Long Beach police officers, wrote 100 prayer cards and invitations, and packed over 70 kits for the homeless community and the hospital. We sent out teams to visit with two nursing homes, the children's shelter, and to do fire clean up at the Rescue Mission. We are excited about the future ministries and mission work that will continue out of this opportunity!

Tuesday evenings 6:30-7:00: Go Fish by Andy Stanley
Fishing stories. We've all heard them. "It was this big." "You should have seen the one that got away." People love to tell stories of their fishing adventures. When it comes to faith, however, most people clam up. Why can't we talk about what God has done in our lives as naturally as we can spin fishing tales? In this 6-part study, Andy Stanley explores the motivation behind sharing your faith and how it can become a natural part of your life.

Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:00: Unleash! by Perry Noble.
Why is it that we trust Jesus with our salvation but never fully trust him with our lives? God longs to unleash his full measure of power in our lives to fill us with passion and purpose. But too often the things of our past―fear, anger, bitterness, worry and doubt―hold us back. Rather than focusing on the reality of who Christ is and what he has done for us, we allow ourselves to be identified by all the things we aren’t. But we are not who our past says we are, and we are not who the enemy says we are. We are who God and his Word say that we are.
Wednesday evenings 6:-7:30: What Makes You Happy by Andy Stanley
Everybody wants to be happy. Everybody is on a happiness quest. For many, happiness is measured in moments. Experiences. It's elusive. Unsustainable. What about you? What makes you happy? In this remarkable 6-part study, Andy reveals what makes you happy. He explores the three things all happy people have in common. Then he goes on to describe how these three things can be realities for you as well.
Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:30: Ladies Group
This is an ongoing group made up primarily of moms of infant through high school aged children, but all ladies are welcome! We are an ongoing group of women sharing life together as we prayerfully strive to grow in Christ through study of the Scriptures, prayer and support for each other, ministry involvement, and accountability. Some previous studies we have done include Andy Stanley’s It’s Personal and Your Move, Jen Hatmaker’s For the Love, Lysa Terkeurst’s The Best Yes, and Northpoint’s Renovate.
Thursday evenings 6:00-8:00: Disciple Fast Track
Engage the grand sweep of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, in just 24 weeks. Disciple FAST TRACK was created for busy people with busy lives. Read manageable 3–5 chapters of the Bible daily. The group will meet for 12 weeks to cover the Old Testament before Christmas. In January the group will take 12 weeks to work through the New Testament. The weekly sessions are only 75 minutes, combining discussion and video. You will engage in spiritual growth, biblical knowledge, and small group connection. Disciple FAST TRACK is not just about learning the Bible but being transformed.
This video was made by the Louisiana Annual Conference about the volunteers from our church that went to Baton Rouge to serve the flood victims over the Labor Day weekend.
