Please plan to join us on July 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the CLC for our annual ice cream social. Bring a quart of homemade or store bought ice cream, toppings (whipped cream, nuts, syrup, sprinkles, cherries, to name a few), or some finger sandwiches to the CLC. Join us for fun and fellowship at the sweetest fellowship supper of the year!
In our Sanctuary services, we will begin this Sunday "Telling THEE Story". Our faith is defined by a story. The ancient people of the Bible used stories to remember and share their faith and beliefs. Jesus used stories to teach and reveal Gods purposes for us. We use our stories to communicate our faith. In all of these individual stories, we actively listen for God's story. In truth, it is God's story of salvation and mercy that is being told. In the coming weeks, we are going to hear more about Gods story by sharing our story. In the end, we all want to tell THEE story of God's work in the world.
I am excited about what the summer series' are going to offer us as a church. It is my prayer that we will all find our place in God's story as we hear it told this summer.
