All women of the Church are invited participate in the UMW. Call Joyce St. John @ 865-0051 for more information or if you have any questions.
Do you ever feel like you're juggling work, family, faith, and more? Here's your chance to get away for a weekend and renew your spirit. Join other women as we seek to find out more about who God is, who God says we are, and how we can find balance in our busy lives. There will be time to share, time to ask questions, time to listen, and time to pray. We'll be staying together, waking up to a view of our beautiful coastline, all in the company of friends, old and new. We're ordering from Newk's for supper Friday night. We'll have a continental style breakfast on Saturday, then work together to make lunch. Sound good? We hope you will accept this invitation. We truly want you to join us!
When: April 4 & 5, 2014. We will begin at 6:30 PM on Friday and wrap up at 3 PM Saturday.
Where: at the home of Andrea Elenbaas, 939 Scenic Drive in Pass Christian.
Bring: An air mattress if you have one, all your personal items, and your favorite snack to share.
Join us on Sunday, April 6th at 6:00 p.m. for a special fellowship supper. We will have a fun filled program about our Baptism featuring the Velveteen Rabbit. Please bring a dish.
Please join us on Sunday, March 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Gulfport to welcome Bishop James E. Swanson, Sr. for a District Worship and Praise Rally celebrating the Power of We 2014.
On March 9th, starting at 9:30am, we will be joining with Stop Hunger Now in the CLC to package over 15,000 meals to help their vision to end world hunger. Meals of rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, vitamins and minerals are designed to provide the greatest nutritional value in the most efficient, shelf-stable package to reverse the effects of malnutrition on children and adults. These meals support school feeding programs in developing countries and provide crisis relief around the world. This is an exciting, hands-on event for all ages that you do not want to miss!
